Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and list the items that you wish to buy. After you have finished your selection, please fax or email your order.

For even more convenience, a SHOPPING CART feature is being added to our store. Until the whole site is setup, it will only be available in some pages. It is fully functional. If you are interested in items that haven't been setup on the shopping cart yet please email us the list, as usual.

Once we receive the order, we will contact you by phone or email to confirm delivery charges (if any), shipping date and payment details.

Payment methods:

• Visa and Mastercard: We now accept Visa and Mastercard payments directly online, by phone, email or fax.
  For security reasons, we can only ship to the address on file with the credit card company.
  All credit card charges will be in CANADIAN or US dollars. If your card is in another currency, the charge will be converted from CDN$ to your local currency by your card issuer. Cosplaysupplies.com has NO control over the exchange rate they will use.
• Visa and Mastercard through Pay-Pal: You will need a (free) Pay-Pal account. They will process the payment and notify us. See www.paypal.com for more details. Setting up an account with them only takes a couple of minutes. Process the payment to dani@cosplaysupplies.com
• Money order, draft or cheque by mail: order will be processed when cheque clears. Canadian banks take up to 1 month to clear cheques from US banks. (Do NOT mail cash)
• Bank transfer: Most banks currently offer web-based Interac bank transfers. We will provide you with our banking info if you choose this option.
• Pick-up: you can save time and money if you can prepay your order and pick-up at our premises. You will be notified of our address when the order is ready. We are located in the south-west area of Toronto. A DISCOUNT will apply.

Shipping And Handling

Shipping and Handling is FREE for most orders within Canada. If we must charge shipping (due to special items/size/weight/delivery address) we will notify you and try to find the most effective delivery option.

Canada Post Rates (In Canadian dollars. current at time of posting. Actual shipping costs will be confirmed for each order)

Minimum rates (1lb = 1/2 kg) $6 to $10 depending on the province.

USA (for items where shipping is not included in the posted prices):
Minimum rates (1lb = 1/2 kg) $12 for regular shipping, $20 for express shipping

Other countries (for items where shipping is not included in the posted prices):

All other shipping and courier companies checked are WAY more expensive, so the way to save money is order well in advance.

Please note that Canada Post and most couriers include a "volumetric weight" clause. This means that light but bulky items are charged based on volume insted of weight.

Rates to other countries: please inquire. You can use Canada Post Online Rate Calculator to get an approximate rate. (Use M1M 1M1 for originator's postal code). To convert the amount to your local currency the Bank of Canada Currency Converter will help. Please note these are only APPROXIMATE values.

Delivery Schedule

We deliver right away any products we have in stock. For out of stock items we will notify you of the expected delivery date.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

Orders from Ontario customers will be charged both PST and GST. Canadian customers from outside Ontario will be charged just GST.

Credit Card Security

Guarantee and Returns Policy

We take great care when preparing orders, and look for products of the best possible quality. Exchanges will be processed on the event of delivering the wrong item, or delivering a damaged item, and only apply towards the same original item. No exchanges for different products, no cash returns, and no refund of shipping charges. While we do our best in looking for a delivery service to match your needs, we won't accept returns due to shipments missing a deadline.

We'll try to MATCH or BEAT prices from retail stores. If you see better prices somewhere else, please bring it to our attention. We'll try our best to beat or match them. In some cases we might not be able to do it, particularly when a competitor is running a time-limited special sale. Please bear in mind we are trying to offer the best possible prices year-round instead of time limited offers. Shipping and handling costs (included in most items in our site) must be also taken into account.
